Membership in The Chemists’ Club is offered to all who are interested in the sciences, particularly the chemical sciences, whether professionals or enthusiastic amateurs and in academe, research, development, law, finance or administration. Applications are reviewed by the Board promptly.
The cost of membership in The Chemists’ Club is quite nominal for an international and educational organization: $50 per annum for students and those under 30 years’ age and $100 per annum for others. The benefits are numerous and valuable and include:
- All members enjoy reciprocity with Club Quarters, a renowned club network with an international assemblage of venues, all with première services.
- All members may also enjoy our affiliated “3 West Club” at 3 West 51st Street, adjacent to Rockefeller Center and across from St. Patrick’s Cathedral for an additional annual subscription of $300.
- All members are welcome to attend Chemists’ Club events at the Penn Club at discounted member rates.
- All members are also eligible for full membership in the Penn Club at town rates. The Penn Club is amongst the most outstanding private clubs in the world and, as a university club with an outstanding business school, has complete facilities for the professional - whether to relax in a sophisticated environment or to meet associates in subdued and private comfort.
The Chemists’ Club is a non-profit educational institution and the base subscription is tax deductible; the additional fees may also be deductible depending on individual circumstances.

Upon acceptance of your membership application, you will receive a member number and invoice. Payment may be completed easily and conveniently via PayPal, where we accept major credit cards and international payments at the prevailing rates of exchange for payments in foreign currency.
